This Saturday, November 14th, the GNR ceased two weddings and an anniversary party, in Albufeira and Faro, dispersing a total of 310 people who were in breach of the rules to combat Covid-19.

In the first situation, in Albufeira, the Guardsmen began by detecting “several gatherings of people dressed in formalwear for a ceremony”.

The GNR was able to "find out that a wedding party was taking place in a hotel that was attended by about 150 people, and people were instructed to demobilize from the place."

That same night, in Albufeira, the military detected a large number of people in a restaurant. During the inspection, it was possible to ascertain the presence of 60 people who were also celebrating a wedding.

According to the GNR, "the establishment was given an indication of closure for having exceeded the permitted capacity".
