The LAG Lagos Cidade 2020 and Silves Cidade 2020 still have applications open until 16 November, with a financial allocation to continue supporting employment and entrepreneurship, announced today the Associação Vicentina.
Support from +CO3SO – Employment is granted for up to 36 months, in the form of a non-refundable subsidy (non-refundable), 100% of the direct costs with the jobs created (salaries, excluding holiday and Christmas allowances) , and Social Security contributions borne by the employer), as well as an additional flat rate of 40% on these same costs.
Financing is available for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) – through +CO3SO Urban Employment – and for Social Economy Entities – through +CO3SO Social Entrepreneurship – such as Private Social Solidarity Institutions, Associations and Foundations, Cooperatives, Associations Mutualists, Misericórdias, among others.
Vicentina stresses that applications for +CO3SO – Employment must be framed in local development strategies.
Thus, the Lagos Cidade 2020 GAL seeks to encourage and support a wide range of initiatives to promote social inclusion and socio-economic development, based on the profitability and enhancement of identity and historical and cultural resources, through multidimensional actions.
Silves Cidade 2020, on the other hand, presents the intention of its local development strategy to promote the creation of jobs for the unemployed or inactive, combat school dropout and promote the economic and social inclusion of the most disadvantaged groups, through the common identifying link of the historical and cultural heritage.
With these notices, the Vicentina Association says that it wishes that, «through the available endowment, projects are created that actively contribute to the strategies already initiated in the territory and that pursue the Association's general objectives, namely: Collaborating and encouraging local development, valuing the territory so that inequalities disappear, fostering the expansion or creation of projects».
