Festival brings back to life the historical organs of the Algarve

Festival starts today in Portimão and lasts until the 28th

The Algarve Organ Festival brings back to life the historical organs of five Algarve churches from today until the 28th. The inaugural concert is tonight, at Matriz de Portimão, and there is already another one scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, at Sé de Faro, always at 21 pm.

The Algarve organist Pedro Monteiro was chosen to kick off the 2020 edition of the festival, organized by the Música XXI association.

The protagonist of the two concerts this weekend has even warmed his fingers on the organ of the Sé de Faro, as you can see in the report of Sul Informação, who spoke with those who make the festival possible, which has already become a national reference.
