Docapesca launched a tender for the placement of new luminaires and LED projectors in the Fishing Port of Portimão, which will allow «environmental gains and a lower energy bill».
The base price of the procedure now launched is 61,7 thousand euros and aims "to improve energy efficiency in the fishing port of Portimão by replacing 18 luminaires and 34 projectors with LED equipment", according to the public company.
"With this change to LED, the installed power is reduced from 24.720 to 9.690 watts, that is, 61% less," added Docapesca.
On the way, the general framework of the processing station at the fishing port of Portimão will also be replaced.
In 39 of the structures to be installed, “bird protection elements will be fitted”.
