“Civitas – Human Rights/Creative Tiles Workshop”. This is the proposal of the Vicentina association, on the 7th, 14th and 21st of November, for a DiVaM initiative that takes place in the Fortaleza de Sagres.
The idea behind this program is «the painting of a community tile panel, as an emblematic landmark of Human Rights, which promotes greater awareness of the subject and contributes to the appreciation of Portuguese heritage, painting on tiles in contemporary times». says Vincentina.
The Fortress of Sagres will be the stage for painting on tiles, which will be promoted by Sílvia Serina, the teacher and painter of traditional Portuguese tiles, who will develop, during these three days, the creative tile workshop, with a group of participants previously registered for the effect.
The initiative has the support of the Europe Direct Center in the Algarve to explore the topic, with the aim of preparing, defining and creating content that will bring the panel to life.
Participation requires mandatory registration, with a limit of 12 participants and a minimum age of 12 years. Registration is open until the 2nd of November here
