The Algarve singer Susana Travassos is the protagonist of one of the episodes of the documentary “Before Mim”, conceived and directed by Fernanda Paraíso, which will be shown this Wednesday, October 14, at 10:00 am, on RTP2.

The documentary explores the importance of the intangible legacy that grandchildren inherit from their grandparents and the inspiring memories that influence their lives.

Susana Travassos tells a little about her story and those who most inspired her. The choice of her artistic name was a tribute to her maternal grandfather, the person who most influenced her musically, for having introduced her to the world of poetry, tango and voice.

His latest CD “Pássaro Palavra” is also an attempt to rescue one of his grandfather's dreams.

The singer has been standing out in recent years as a space of international prestige, where she conquered a following audience and gained admirers. He performed alongside musicians such as Chico César, Yamadu Costa, Zeca Baleiro, Chico Saraiva, Chico Pinheiro and Toninho Horta.
