An educator from the “Sítio do Bebé” crèche, in São Brás de Alportel, tested positive for Covid-19, announced this Wednesday, 21 October, the City Council.
“All the families of the children in this educator's class were duly informed, the room is closed and all the children, as well as the room's collaborators are under surveillance, in their homes”, guarantees the municipality.
All persons in its network of contacts are also "under surveillance and duly monitored by the Local Health Authority".
«The local health delegate is once again, from the first moment, monitoring and intervening in this situation, in close coordination with the institution – Center for Culture and Sport of Workers of the City Council and Parish Council –, the City Council and other local and regional entities», adds the municipality.
Moreover, the situation "is under control" and people "are well".
In the other two outbreaks of contagion in São Brás (a 1st cycle school and the Home of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia), there are no new cases to register.
