Portimonense beat Marítimo 2-1 and got their first victory in the championship, this season, in their trip to Madeira this Saturday. The Algarvians were losing, but they turned the result around.

The first part was very disputed, with two teams looking to create dangerous situations.

Still, there were only two shots framed with the goal.

The most dangerous was from Kibe, who, in the 18th minute, received the ball in front of the goal, but could not beat Samuel, the goalkeeper of Portimonense, who made a great save.

In the opposite goal, the only shot included was an attempt at a hat by Dener, but which the Marítimo goalkeeper easily saved.

In this way, the first part ended in a zero-sum draw.

Right at the start of the second half, Marítimo took the lead through a penalty.

At 48 minutes, after a very dangerous play, in which the ball hits the crossbar and ended up, once again, resolved with a tight defense by Samuel, the referee signaled a penalty, considering that there was a hand by Candé.

Called to convert, Rodrigo Pinho did not forgive and put the Madeirans at an advantage.

Portimonense reacted and, on 55 minutes, Dener, with a powerful shot from outside the area, was very close to scoring, but Abedzadeh denied the goal to the Algarve with an excellent save.

By the third, Dener would be able to score. On 69 minutes, following a corner, Willyan made the save and the Portimonense captain beat Marítimo's goalkeeper and equalized.

The game was alive, with both teams showing they wanted to take the three points.

And, in the 74th minute, Anderson completed the turnaround in the marker, by scoring the second of the Algarve, a pass from Aylton.

Marítimo tried to counter their luck, but Samuel showed his quality between the posts of the Portimão team.

Portimonense, on the other hand, tried to surprise the opponent with quick transitions.

Still, until the end, the result did not change and the three points went to the Algarve.

With the first victory in the current edition of the I League, Portimonense now adds 4 points, when four rounds are played, and rises to 11th position in the championship, with condition.
