The Table Tennis Club (CTM) of Lagos has just started to «historic presence» in the first national division of this modality and has already won a game, in the double journey that took place this weekend, in Madeira.
On Saturday, in their debut in the top division of Table Tennis, in Portugal, the Algarve lost 3-2 to AD Galomar. On Sunday, the lacobrigense team “revenged itself” at CD São Roque, “a club that normally has a regular presence in the play-offs”, beating it 3-2.
«It is worth mentioning the excellent participation of the Portuguese international Olympic João Monteiro, who, in both matches, won his two games», stresses the Lagos club.
On November 7th, Lagos tennis players will play at home with GDAAA Guilhabreu, in a game counting for the 3rd round of the championship.
Lagos CTM is currently the fifth place in the championship (out of 11), with 4 points.
