Covid-19: VRSA returns to the disinfection of public spaces

Works will take place on Fridays and Tuesdays, during the night

Today, Friday, the 23rd, the Vila Real de Santo António Council resumed the cleaning and disinfection work of the public space, in order to minimize the risk of contagion from Covid-19.

The operations will be carried out every Tuesday and Friday, during the night, in order to guarantee the safety of people and goods.

The sanitation services, under the responsibility of the Desinfestalgarve company, will start in the parish of Vila Real de Santo António, followed by the localities of Monte Gordo and Vila Nova de Cacela.

The places to intervene correspond to those with the greatest affluence of public and include schools, supermarkets, pharmacies, Health Centers and Homes for the Elderly.

With these measures, the Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António says it is "contributing to a reinforcement of the prevention of Covid-19 in the municipality and to increasing even more the safety and hygiene of public facilities".
