Lucas Possignolo is leaving Portimonense

Central is training with the main team, but also with the under-23

The central Lucas Possignolo has four proposals to leave Portimonense and the club wants to close the transfer "as soon as possible", revealed this Wednesday, September 30, Rodiney Sampaio, president of SAD, to the Sul Informação.

According to this official, there are "four proposals on the table: two from Portugal, one from Turkey and one from France."

With the transfer market closing in our country on 6 October, Rodiney Sampaio explained that the SAD of Portimonense wants to "close this file as soon as possible".

In recent days, Lucas has been training with both the main team and the under-23s.

In the first two rounds of the I League, the Portimonense central scored an own goal (against Paços de Ferreira) and missed a penalty (against Gil Vicente), but Rodiney denies that Lucas' departure and the fact that he is training with the under-23s is related to the athlete's performance.

"He is training with both teams until the transfer is completed," he explained.

According to the president of SAD, the departure of Lucas – one of the oldest players in Portimonense and with the largest market – comes out of «mutual will».

"We had promised the player that, if there was a good proposal for both parties, we would sit down and talk and that's it, as with Tabata», He concluded.

Lucas Possignolo has a total of 152 games for Portimonense, scoring 10 goals. The central was part of the team of Alvinegros that won the II League in 2016/2017, rising, at the time, to the First Football League.
