Encourage Algarve performing arts professionals to share their working methods with each other. This is the name of the initiative that LAMA Teatro starts next week.
The idea is to create a monthly meeting, in which, for two hours, artists rehearse or train with their peers. Every month the coordination will be done by a different artist, free of charge.
Each performer will be able to share new ideas, methods and/or work processes with others. This idea of shared thinking – the initiative is called “Take the keys to the LAMA Black Box and you can take a while” – wants to be “an asset for the artistic creation of the various players”.
The first meeting will be coordinated by João de Brito and will take place on 15 September, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at LAMA Black Box, located at Travessa Castilho, in Faro,
After that date, the initiative always takes place on the second Tuesday of each month, in the morning, until the 8th of December.
Those interested in being in the working group of the first meeting or in creating their own working group should get in touch with LAMA, through the email firstname.lastname@example.org or the mobile phone 932 787 339.
