The Municipality of Lagoa is going to launch renovation works on the athletics track at the Estádio da Bela Vista, located in the parish of Parchal. The program of works in competition aims to make this municipal equipment one of the best conditions it offers for sports.
“We are going to add a new feature – the training ramps – which will make this track one of the best in our country”, said Luís Encarnação, mayor of Lagoa, when this project was announced.
In addition to the three training ramps, equipped with different levels of inclination, which give differentiation to this equipment, the athletics track will also receive a new floor.
Low maintenance exterior arrangements are also planned, using artificial turf for that, added the president.
After a decade of intense use, the Municipality of Lagoa expects that the works on the Municipal Stadium of Bela Vista can start before spring 2021.
«With the execution period of 180 days, it is expected that the works are completed by the end of next year», adds the municipality in a press release.
The value set for these requalification works is 602 euros.
