20 migrants land on Deserta Island and flee across the sand

Nationality is still unknown, but it is admitted that they are of Moroccan origin.

Authorities are looking for two dozen migrants who landed on Ilha Deserta in Faro, at the beginning of the afternoon of this Tuesday.

According to information collected by JN, around 20 migrants were seen disembarking and fleeing across the sand.

After being alerted, the Maritime Police activated all mechanisms to capture individuals whose nationality is still unknown. It is admitted, however, that they are of Moroccan origin, like the other groups of migrants that have been detected in the same area.
