“Verão em Tavira” will have concerts by Capicua and Vitorino

Concerts take place on Friday and Saturday

“Summer in Tavira” will bring Vitorino, accompanied by Zé Francisco, and rapper Capicua to Palácio da Galeria Park, on August 7th and 8th, respectively, always at 22 pm.

On Friday, the 7th, Vitorino Salomé will take the stage with the musician from Tavira Zé Francisco, to present the show “A Sul”.

In this concert, some of Vitorino's most outstanding songs will be presented, namely, “Menina estás à window” and “Queda do Império”, as well as compositions by Zé Francisco.

The public can also count on “timeless songs from Zeca Afonso's repertoire”, according to the Câmara de Tavira.

On Saturday, August 8th, it will be the turn of Portuguese rapper Capicua to bring her new show to Tavira.

«After years of concerts, with repertoire from previous albums, Capicua performs a reset and start new tour with a new record, a new line-up and a new scenario», described the municipality.

“Madrepérola” “renews the repertoire, but above all the spirit of the rapper show. Being an album of songs, with many guest voices and much more danceable, it demands that this energy be realized on stage».

So, alongside the musicians who usually accompany her (D-One, Virtus, Luís Montenegro and Sérgio Alves), will be the voices of Inês Pereira and Joana Raquel.

«Visually, the show takes on a new identity, with lots of light, textures and shine, in an allusion to the iridescence of mother-of-pearl and the polychrome of underwater charms», added the Câmara de Tavira.

Tickets for the shows cost 5 euros and can be purchased at Praça da República, daily, between 20:00 and 23:00.

On the day of the shows, they can be purchased in the square in front of Palácio da Galeria, at the same time.

The value of the show “reverses in favor of the acquisition of individual protection equipment for the municipality's social solidarity institutions”.

It is mandatory to wear a mask and comply with the safety rules defined for the various shows (information to be made available on site).
