A 47-year-old man, convicted of domestic violence, was arrested this Monday, 27 July, by the Maritime Police, in Ilha do Farothere, in Faro, and will serve a prison sentence in the Prison of Olhão.
This action resulted from the execution of an arrest warrant issued by the Judicial Court of the District of Faro.
The man was intercepted at the pier on the Ilha do Farol by members of the Central Criminal Investigation Unit and the Maritime Police's Tactical Actions Group, having been immediately arrested without resistance.
This man was taken to the prison in Olhão to serve an effective prison sentence for the crime of domestic violence.
