In 2020, Praia de Armação de Pêra will once again have a Beach Medical Post that will ensure nursing health care for vacationers, but also for the local population.
The post, located in the Armação de Pêra Fortress, is part of the regional network and is the result of a partnership between the Municipality of Silves and the Regional Health Administration of the Algarve. It will be open until the 13th of September, from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 18:00 pm.
«This equipment provides health care to both bathers and the resident population, who need to resort to health care on the beach in various situations, such as sunstroke, spiderfish stings, small abrasions or voltage breaks. treatment on site, or, if necessary, be referred by nursing professionals to an appropriate health unit», according to the Chamber of Silves.
There is also “guaranteed assistance to those who need to undergo medical treatment, and for this purpose, in this case, they must be accompanied by the respective treatment guide”.
