This Sunday, at 15:45 pm, the Quarteira Salva-Vidas Station watched a kite surfer who fell into the water during the practice of the activity.
After the incident, members of the Quarteira Lifeguard Station assisted the victim and retrieved the board, then transported the practitioner to land.
About half an hour later, at the same location, another kite surfer also suffered an accident, requiring assistance to return to shore.
It was not necessary to provide medical assistance in any of the situations.
