Portimão Municipal Single Balcony has already reopened

Those who book in advance will have priority

The Balcão Único Municipal de Portimão has already resumed face-to-face service to the public, after having ensured «all the conditions and protection measures in order to guarantee the safety of workers and users», announced the Municipality of Portimão.

The service will operate from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 18:00 pm (continuous time) and will focus on face-to-face service by appointment. The treasury service will be open from 9:00 am to 17:30 pm. Those interested in making an appointment should call the telephone number 282470777. If these are "merely informative matters", questions can be addressed to balcao.unico@cm-portimao .pt.

The use of this service implies compliance with several rules, "among which the mandatory use of masks, hygiene, respect for safety distances and respiratory etiquette or stay inside the Municipal Single Counter for the time strictly necessary for the service".

 

 

According to the municipality, in the specific case of the renewal of the Citizen's Card, "the respective renewal may only be carried out by people over 25 years of age, who must, for this purpose, visit the Espaço do Cidadão services, on the 1st floor of the building. In addition, the card cannot be expired for more than 30 days from the expiry date».

«The alteration or change of the signature on the card, as well as the photograph of the holder, may also be carried out in the same space, and all other matters relating to the Citizen's Card can only be dealt with through the Civil Registry Office of Portimão, which currently it can only be answered by email [email protected]», added the Chamber of Portimão.

The Municipal Archive of Portimão, CLAIM – Local Support Center for Migrants and the Housing and Social Development and Health Division have also resumed face-to-face assistance.
