Algarve entities have support for inclusion in social and health services

Applications for European Union Funds open until the 11th of June

Entities in the Algarve that want to guarantee support for carrying out awareness-raising and information actions to support reforms in social and health services, with a view to inclusion, may submit applications for funds from the CRESC Algarve 2020 Operational Program, under an open competition by the Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) of the Algarve.

Applications under this notice, 80% co-financed by the European Social Fund, can be made until the 11th of June. All information can be obtained on the CRESC Algarve 2020 page.

This initiative, with a total allocation of €575, has as its main objective to promote social inclusion and is intended to support 'non-profit private law legal persons or public law legal persons belonging to the central administration, including public institutes , and to the local administration'.

 




 

“Training and/or information actions for users of social and health services are eligible to enable them to mobilize innovative responses in this field, using ICT, namely in the field of telecare and telemedicine”, according to CCDR Algarve.

'Awareness and/or information actions for the prevention of risk behaviors that limit the need to resort to these services, in particular health services, in particular in the school environment in the themes of oral hygiene or nutrition and integrated in the National Plan of Ethics in Sport", as well as "the promotion of awareness and information campaigns on the subject of addictive behaviors, addictions and associated problems, in order to counter prejudice and stereotypes and invert the beliefs and negative perception around this group , in order to favor equal opportunities and social integration”.
