Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos has delivered more than 400 3D printed visors

Visors started to be printed on March 21st.

The Lagos Living Science Center has already delivered more than 400 protection visors, produced on 3D printers, the Câmara de Lagos and the Hospital de Portimão, revealed to the Sul Informação, Luís Azevedo Rodrigues, this afternoon.

Today alone, 109 visors were delivered to the Hospital de Portimão and 80 to the Câmara de Lagos, which is responsible for distributing them to the health units in the municipality.

The Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos began printing visors to distribute to health professionals, on March 21. The distribution of this equipment is made free of charge.

It all started with two printers, but the Ciência Viva Center is coordinating the efforts of several volunteers to print the media on 3D printers».
