Tickets purchased at ticket offices are only refunded…at ticket offices

CP announced this Thursday an adjustment to the ticket refund conditions, "given the exceptional nature of the situation", promising to offer "greater flexibility" to customers who wish to give up the train journey and be reimbursed.

According to the Observer, in the case of ticket purchases made online, CP guarantees that it will soon be allowed to return the money without the need for physical presence, "as soon as technical issues are overcome".

However, for tickets purchased at the ticket offices, the refund of the money paid can only be made at the ticket offices, in person and within the deadlines established by the company.

In other words, to avoid paying a refund fee, the request must be made up to 3 hours before the train departs.
