Teatro das Figuras starts with Tindersticks and ends a week at Sítio do Pica Pau Amarelo

British Tindersticks will hit Faro one of the five concerts they have scheduled for Portugal

A concert by Tindersticks, a visit to the Sítio do Pica Pau Amarele contemporary circus are the proposals of Teatro das Figuras for the week that has just begun.

Today, at 21:30 pm, the Faro concert hall hosts a show by the Tindersticks, who returned to Portugal to present their new album, as part of a world tour that began in January.

This will be the first of five concerts that the British alternative rock band will give in our country.

Tomorrow, the 18th, a contemporary circus workshop will be promoted, guided by Diogo Santos.

The program of this training action includes ground movement base repertoire; basic movement repertoire; basic techniques of solo acrobatics, improvisation techniques, psychoactive games, tension and relaxation techniques to deepen movement/dance, basic techniques of partenering, duo and contact dance.

Two days later, Diogo Santos returns to Teatro das Figuras to take the stage with Donatello Brida and star in the show "Blows", with artistic direction Dolores de Matos and Luciano Amarelo, staging by Luciano Amarelo and dramaturgy by João Pedro Azul.

On Saturday, at 16:30 pm, the company Ópera Isto will stage the children's musical “Yellow Wood Woodpecker", inserted in the cycle "Who has Faro for the opera”.

On stage will be Ângela Marques, Mário João Alves and Alexandre Reis.
