The store “O Cantinho do Artesão”, the supermarket Supersul, lda II and the haberdashery Paula Rio won the Christmas Decoration Contest of the Vila do Bispo Council, which took place in December.
Meanwhile, four Christmas hampers were drawn by the customers who made their purchases in the traditional stores of this county. Rui Baptista (Sagres), Eugenia Nicolae (Raposeira), Lina Coelho (Barão de São João) and Raquel Boto (Portimão) were awarded.
The results of the initiative, which had 25 participants, were announced on the 10th, at a convivial dinner held at the “O Terraço” restaurant, in Martinhal.

"The competition was aimed at all commercial establishments and aimed to boost the municipality's commerce and encourage the population to make their Christmas purchases in the traditional stores of Vila do Bispo", according to the Vila-Bispense Chamber.
