Three surfers saved two English tourists, this Thursday, January 16, when they were about to drown, at Praia da Galé, in Albufeira.
The news is advanced by TVI24 which says that one of the surfers was "in the water".
The women, aged 53 and 67, were eventually transferred to the Hospital de Faro.
One of them "is in serious condition" as she was "found unconscious and with signs of respiratory failure", according to TVI24.
