Infraquinta receives certificate in safety and health at work

The formal delivery of the certificate took place this Friday morning

This Friday, 17 January, the municipal company Infraquinta received a certificate in occupational safety and health.

In a press release, Infraquinta says that, «in order to guarantee the safety and health of its employees, it decided to implement ISO 45001, an international standard for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, as well as improving the safety and reduce work accidents, Infraquinta makes work processes more productive».

The formal delivery of the certificate took place this Friday morning, and was given by the engineer Raquel Sanmartín, representing the Portuguese Certification Association, to Miguel Piedade, chairman of Infraquinta's Board of Directors.

The ceremony was attended by all employees and Marilyn Zacarias, councilor of the Loulé Council, responsible, among others, for the Internal Audit and Quality portfolios; People management; Occupational Health and Safety and Municipal Support Management.

With about 70 employees, Infraquinta says that, since 2017, «it has been developing a posture focused on the prevention of work accidents and occupational diseases, promoting various safe practices and methodologies in this regard».
