Photographic exhibition shows the wildlife of Africa in Olhão

Show will be open until the end of the month

The “photo exhibition “Wildlife in Botswana and South Africa”, by Vítor Azevedo, is on display in the gallery of the José Mariano Gago Municipal Library, in Olhão, until the 31st of January.

The exhibition consists of photographs taken in Chobe National Park, Botswana, and Timvabati Private Reserve, South Africa, which portray life, the struggle for survival and the food chain.

«Death is intimately linked to life, which becomes a constant and cyclical rebirth, a principle that motivated Vítor Azevedo to do this set of works. It is from this mixture of beauty, brutality, sweetness, aggressiveness and survival that came this set of works now exposed to the public at the Municipal Library», according to the City Council of Olhão.
