There are different tests for different age groups and an Adapted Corta Mato

2400 students from schools in the Algarve will participate in the Corta Mato Escolar Regional, which will take place tomorrow, January 15, from 10:00 am, at Vale das Almas, in Faro.

The test will include the participation of male and female students from Infant A (born from 2009 to 2011), Infant B (2007 and 2008), Initiates (2005 and 2006), Juvenile (2002 to 2004) and Junior (1998 to 2001), which will cover – according to the age group – distances from 1000 to 3500 meters.

The event also includes an Adapted Corta Mato, aimed at students who have functional limitations that do not allow them to participate in competitions at the levels and gender in a situation of sporting equity.

In addition to the participating students and responsible teachers, Corta Mato Regional will have the support of 65 volunteer students from the Pinheiro e Rosa School, the Sport Technician courses and the Aquatic Rescue Course, and about three dozen teachers from the organization, in addition to a medical team of 15 people and the Fire Department, who will be preventing the activity.

Corta Mato Regional has as partners the City Council of Faro, Montenegro Parish Council, Motoclube de Faro and Fagar.
