Rodrigo Leão, Salvador Sobral, magazine theater, arts and sports are part of the schedule that Câmara de Lagos has set up for January, the month in which the elevation of Lagos to the City is celebrated.
The month will be marked by a lot of music, with two big names standing out, but also by many other activities, for various tastes.
On the 4th of January, at the Centro Cultural de Lagos, at 19 pm and 00:21 pm, Rodrigo Leão will present the show “O Method”, where he will present the songs from the album with the same name that he will release in February.
"The concert will therefore anticipate a new project, bringing to the stage what is first born in the composer's head and then fixed in the studio", described the Câmara de Lagos, who added that the concert "will have the participation of the choir children of the Grupo Coral de Lagos».
Also in music, the highlight is the concert by Salvador Sobral, on January 26, also at the Centro Cultural de Lagos, where the album “Paris – Lisboa” will be presented, his second by the artist who won the Eurovisão da Canção Festival, work which reached number 1 in the Portuguese tops, having also reached 11th place in the Spanish tops.
From the program for January, the Câmara de Lagos also highlights the Teatro de Revista performances that the Clube Artístico Lacobrigense will perform from January 9th to 11th, at 21 pm, at the Cultural Center, the Senior Olympics (on the 30nd, Pavilhão Municipal de Lagos), the national sailing competition – Class 22 (420th and 25th January, Cais da Solaria) and the Lagos Sport Gala (26th, Municipal Pavilion).
