Farense beat Feirense by 1-0, in the 14th round of the II Football League, played this Sunday, December 15th.

After 7 minutes, Farense took the lead. Miguel Bandarra scored a free-kick still far from Caio Seco's goal, but the distance didn't stop the Algarve player from scoring a real goal.

Still in the first half, Farense could have increased the advantage, but Irobiso wasted a good chance, in the 22nd minute, allowing the defense of Feirense's goalkeeper.

In the second half, the away team appeared more attacking, but the truth is that they didn't have great chances to score. In the other goal, Bandarra (64′) almost scored again…and with a free-kick. Caio Seco defended for a corner.

At 68′, Camará shot, without Hugo Marques between the posts, but the ball hit an Algarve defender and went into the corner.

The Algarvians managed to hold the advantage until the end and added three important points, ensuring that they will enter in 2020 in 1st place in the championship.

Farense has 33 points, 2 more than Nacional, which is right behind. The advantage for the 3rd place is already, moreover, 10 points (!), which makes the dream of moving up the division seem to be ever closer to being fulfilled. This is because the first two classified guarantee the climb.
