Farense lost this Saturday against Nacional by 1-0, in a game counting for the 12th round of the II League, played in Madeira Island. In this way, the Algarve broke a series of six victories for the championship, which had been going on since October, and, despite maintaining the lead, they saw one of their direct opponents approaching.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 24th minute, by Mosevich.

Until the end, the Algarve failed to score and left the three points in the island of Madeira, with the team that already occupied the second position in the championship at the start of this journey.

Farense continues to lead the II Liga, with 30 points, being followed – now closely – by Nacional, with 28 points. Both teams have 13 games, two more than the third and fourth classified, Estoril and Leixões, which add up, respectively, 22 and 21 points.
