Humor, magic and celebration of traditions fill the Algarve's agenda to welcome 2020. There are dozens of events prepared for the thousands of Algarve residents and tourists, who choose the region to welcome a new decade, and who can now be consulted in the «Algarve Guide» for January, available for download here.

The year kicks off with the Solrir humor festival, which, between January 01st and 04th, takes to the stage of the auditorium of the Algarve Congress Palace, in Albufeira, with names of luxury artists such as Eduardo Madeira, Manuel Marques, Fernando Rocha, Aldo Lima , Nilton, Serafim and Marco Horácio with their character Rouxinol Faduncho.

Music is one of the strong points on the agenda for the beginning of the year. Among the highlights are the concerts of Rodrigo Leão (January 04th, at 19:00 pm) and from Salvador Sobral (January 24th and 25th, at 21:30 pm), which take place at the Duval Pestana Auditorium Cultural Center, in Lagos.
