A man of German nationality, 43 years old, lost his way this morning, around 11:00 am, on a rural road in the interior of the municipality of Tavira, in the town of Bemveja, parish of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo.
The German, who was driving a sports vehicle, lost his way and fell over a cliff. CDS source told the Sul Informação that death was declared on the spot.
14 workers were involved in the relief operations, supported by five vehicles from the Firefighters of Tavira and São Brás de Alportel, as well as INEM and GNR.
