It was a blind tasting, in which all employees of the Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) tasted various types of water, bottled and tap. In the end, the results were curious.

According to the company Águas do Algarve, which organized the initiative on the 7th of November, «it was concluded that many people were pleasantly surprised by the taste of tap water».

"This water test aimed to show the quality of tap water, at a time when the region is experiencing drought, simultaneously appealing to the parsimonious consumption of this good", he adds.

Moreover, the session, made at the invitation of CCDR Algarve, had two interventions for all those present, talking about themes such as the importance of water and its efficient use.
