Portimonense went to Madeira to draw with Marítimo by 1-1, in a game counting for the XNUMXst League championship with two goals scored “by the bomb”.

Marítimo started better and created two good opportunities at 19 and 21, but failed to score.

The goal would come, but for Portimonense. In the 44th minute, Lucas Fernandes shot with strength and in a way from outside the area and put the Algarvians to win 1-0.

 

 

Before the end of the first half, Portimonense tried to extend their advantage, but first Lucas Possignolo and then Rodrigo failed to beat goalkeeper Amir.

In the second half, Marítimo tried to change their luck and carried over to Portimonense.

And the equalizer had to reach 71 minutes, at a time when the Algarve were, momentarily, with only ten players on the field.

Marítimo galvanized and tried to get the upper hand, having created several opportunities to score. The game was open and Portimonense also tried to respond and secure the three points.
