More than 45 companies will offer jobs at the UAlg Online Careers Fair

170 job offers are now available

The University of Algarve will promote on November 28 the UAlg Online Careers Fair, a free virtual job fair, and those interested in participating can now register.

At this time, it is already confirmed «the participation of more than 45 companies, to be recruited in various sectors and professional areas, and with the representation of services eures (European Employment Services) from 10 countries and some information and advice services”, according to UAlg.

Companies that want to join this batch still have time and can apply here. The public, however, must submit their application following this link.

«The UAlg Online Careers Fair is aimed at higher education students, qualified professionals, recent graduates or with experience, who wish to apply for a job / internship / research project, at national or European level. Portuguese citizens residing abroad, who intend to return to Portugal (as well as their families), are also invited to participate», according to UAlg.

One week before the event, « 170 job/ internship/ research offers are already available for application (with more than 680 jobs), and until the date of the event, more offers will be available. As part of the mobility advice, the EURES services from Germany, Austria, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Netherlands, Italy, Malta and the United Kingdom will participate.

For job seekers, this Fair will allow them to attend, online or in person, at the Teresa Gamito amphitheater, Building 1, on the UAlg Campus of Gambelas, in Faro, to several presentations of companies and other services to support professional careers, in Portugal and in Europe.

All interested parties will be able to contact employers, labor market specialists and mobility support services and apply for specific job / internship offers, made available not only by participating companies, but also from other European Union countries.

«The application can now be formalized, and those interested should also upload the Curriculum Vitae or LinkedIn profile, in order to enable online participation, respond to job offers, schedule interviews, contact via chat with employers, organizations and countries participants and also to receive updates and suggestions for better preparation of the event», added the university.

This initiative is organized by UAlg and the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP), as part of the commemorations of the 40th anniversary of the two institutions, and is part of the activities of EURES Portugal and EURES Transfronteiriço Andalucia-Algarve.
