Incubator to be born in Querença, Tôr, Alte and Alcoutim seeks “Qriadores”

Applications are open until November 30th

Applications are now open for “Qriadores” to join QRIAR, the Algarve's Creative Incubator. This is an incubator recently created by Cooperativa QRER, which will have coworking spaces and workshops in the villages of Querença, Tôr and Alte, in the municipality of Loulé, and in Alcoutim.

QRER explains that this project “searches for “Qriadores” with an interest in developing business ideas inspired by the culture and heritage of these territories, their arts and crafts, traditions, uses and customs”.

Those selected “will join an acceleration program for the Cultural and Creative Industries and will have support in developing their idea, access to training and capacity building, marketing support, Iberian networking opportunities and, finally, support in setting up their company », explains the cooperative.

To submit applications, it is necessary to fill in the form available on the website www.qriar.pt and attach the updated CV and motivation letter to it, until November 30th.

QRIAR is an initiative of the QRER – Cooperative for the Development of Low Density Territories, which integrates the Magallanes_ICC project, a cross-border cooperation network between the Algarve, Alentejo and Andalusia regions, dedicated to the creative economy, co-financed by the European Fund of Regional Development, FEDER, under the Interreg VA España – Portugal (POCTEP) 2014-2020 program.

The initiative also has the support of the Municipality of Loulé, the Municipality of Alcoutim, the Union of Parishes of Querença, Tôr and Benafim and the Cândido Guerreiro Professional School.
