The 2nd Meeting of Writing and Writers of the Algarve takes place next Sunday, November 17, from 10:00 am to 17:30 pm, at the Municipal Museum of Faro. A conversation between Lídia Jorge and António Branco, scheduled for 16 pm, is one of the highlights.
This moment, of conversation between the writer Lídia Jorge and António Branco, former dean of the University of Algarve, will be moderated by Rosa Veloso, journalist from RTP in Algarve.
Otherwise, the meeting will start with a visit to the museum, at 10:00 am. In the afternoon, at 14 pm, the photography book “Apontamentos fotográficos de Castelo Vide”, by Diogo Margarido, and the trailer for the film “Horses of War”, by João Rodrigues, will be presented, followed by an exchange of views between the two authors.
There will also be, at 15:30 pm, a musical moment of piano and guitar with Paula Rocha and Luís Fialho.
The Associação Cívica Tomaz Cabreira – Citizenship and Participation is a non-profit association whose objective is “civic intervention and cultural dissemination”, based in the area of Faro, in 2010, by a group of people interested in issues of culture and citizen participation in the most diverse areas of society.
The initiative is carried out in partnership with publishers in the region, with the involvement of the Regional Directorate of Culture and with the support of the Municipal Museum of Faro.
