The Chamber of Faro will sue the Association of Friends and Users of the Praia de Camping Park Faro and all occupants of this space, if they do not leave the site by the 24th of November.
In a note sent to the editorial offices, the autarchy guarantees that it will “intend legal action against the Association of Friends and Users of the Park of
Camping at the Beach of Faro, as well as to all the occupants of the space, who until the 24th of the current month have not taken the necessary steps to return it to the municipality».
The position of the Municipality comes after a news published this Tuesday in the Correio da Manhã, which said that the occupants of the Camping Park land «will present, during this week, a resource to try to prevent the municipality from taking over possession of the space on the 25th of November».
This feature follows on from the rejection by the Loulé Administrative Court of an injunction filed by the Association of Users and Friends of the Camping Park, which forced the delay the start of work, initially scheduled for 1 October.
The Chamber of Faro it adds that, if users do not leave the Camping Park space, and if the municipality even proceeds to take legal action, this “will be accompanied by the respective request for compensation for the losses and damages caused”.
In a note sent to the editorial offices, the autarchy says it is determined "to take possession of the space, enforcing the determinations of the courts and the deliberations of Organs municipal bodies, in the name of the public interest."
