A 23-year-old woman was injured as a result of being run over by a horse on the EN125, between Portimão and Lagoa, this morning at 7:54 am.
Contacted by Sul Informação, the District Relief Operations Command revealed that the injured person from the accident “is light and was transported to the Hospital de Portimão”.
The accident is causing long lines of traffic in the area, as the horse, who died, "stayed in the middle of the road" and was waiting "for the services of the City Council to retrieve it".
There were 16 workers at the site, supported by six vehicles.
