The Vistas restaurant, from Head Rui Silvestre, located at Monte Rei Golf & Country Club, in Vila Nova de Cacela, has just joined the exclusive club of Michelin-starred restaurants.
This happens on the same day that the region loses two restaurants with the symbol of the famous guide: Henrique Leis, from Head with the same name, in Almancil, and Willie's, by Willie Wurger, in Vilamoura.
The new Michelin Guide for 2020 was unveiled this Wednesday night in Seville, Spain.
Rui Silvestre, now at Vistas, had already achieved the same feat four years ago, when Bon Bon, in Lagoa, was awarded a Michelin star.

With these entries and exits, the Algarve now has seven restaurants in the renowned Michelin Guide, two with two stars (Ocean, at Vila Vita, in Lagoa, and Vila Joya, in Albufeira) and five with one star (the newcomer Vistas, and São Gabriel and Gusto, in Almancil, Bon Bon, in Lagoa, and Vista, in Praia da Rocha).
