The City Council resumed the redevelopment work of the Caminho da Aldeia and a section of the Caminho da Escola, in the Santa Maria Valley, after an interruption during the bathing season.
This contract for the paving and execution of the water network is estimated at around 410 thousand euros.
In a first phase, “preparatory work is being carried out on the rainwater network and the domestic water network. Subsequently, punctual repairs of pathologies in the pavement will be carried out, punctual widening and paving of the road, in an approximate length of two kilometers», explained the City Council of Albufeira.
The main works to be carried out «consist in the preparation and demolition, paving, accessory works, construction of supporting walls, and execution of rainwater and domestic water networks».
According to José Carlos Rolo, Mayor, «this is one of the structural works being developed throughout the municipality with the aim of strengthening the rainwater and domestic water network, as well as the necessary interventions in the paving of the network. road'.
