Rua da Igreja, in Montenegro, will receive improvement works. The Chamber of Faro signed, this Monday, the contract for the execution of the work, which will cost around 73 thousand euros.
As explained by the municipality, the project "has the objective of remodeling that street in terms of paving and levelling, also contemplating the execution of sidewalks and intervention in rainwater infrastructure, in the public lighting network and in telephone infrastructure".
The work, awarded to Sociedade JEVOP- Construções SA, has an execution period of 60 days.
The Chamber of Faro emphasizes that this is a “fundamental intervention for the improvement of car and pedestrian circulation conditions in the Parish of Montenegro, thus increasing the levels of safety and comfort for vehicles and pedestrians”.
This work is part of the municipal program “Faro Requalify”.
