Former rectors Adriano Pimpão, João Guerreiro and António Branco and Paulo Águas, current dean of the University of Algarve, are the guests at the gathering “40 years, 4 rectors”, which is scheduled for next Wednesday, October 30th, at 17:30 pm, in the Noble Hall of the Former Civil Government, in Faro.
This initiative is part of the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the University of the Algarve University.
«Tracing a retrospective from its creation to the present day, former rectors Adriano Pimpão, João Guerreiro and António Branco, and the current dean, Paulo Águas, will be invited to talk about some of the most important moments of the 40 years of UAlg and its impact at regional, national and international level», explains the University of Algarve.
Simultaneously, the launch of the Postcard and Commemorative Stamp of the 40th Anniversary of the University of Algarve by CTT – Correios de Portugal will take place.
The initiative is open to the public.
