Loulé allocated 448 euros to social institutions in the municipality

Municipality to sign program contracts with 30 IPSS in the county

Loulé City Council will distribute around 448 thousand euros to 30 Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) in the municipality.

«This support to the IPSS will be channeled to areas such as the development of social responses/activities under the institution's responsibility, maintenance and conservation of buildings, as well as the equipping of materials and equipment», according to the City Council of Loulé.

In order to receive these subsidies, the different beneficiary entities had to apply, "as happens with program contracts in the sporting and cultural scope", and submit to the scrutiny of the local authority's technical services.

"This measure is part of a set of actions that we promote, in line with what is the meritorious work of the institutions, in order to build a more solidary council, with quality of life for all its residents and in whom they are. in a more vulnerable situation can benefit from the same opportunities as their fellow citizens», summarized the City Council of Loulé.
