Strings by Amar Guitarra will be in the conversation in Olhão

João Cuña and Pedro Mendes will star in "an emotional dialogue between the acoustic and Portuguese guitars"

Amar Guitarra will present the show “Cordas à Conversa” at the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão (AMO), on Saturday, the 19th, at 21 pm.

Musicians João Cuña and Pedro Mendes will star in "an emotional dialogue between the acoustic and Portuguese guitars".

«The complicity between the two musicians and their instruments stands out, throughout the interpretation of several original themes and versions, in styles ranging from fado to flamenco, passing through morna, jazz, gypsy jazz or tango» , according to the Chamber of Olhão.

In this show, which takes place as part of the V International Poetry Meeting in the South 2019, the two guitarists will be accompanied by Carlos Poubel on percussion.

Las guitars locas (2003), Amar Guitar (2008) and Guitarra viva (2017) are the three works edited by the group.
