Beja shows “Patrimónios do Sul” with music and cuisine

There will be concerts by João Pedro Pais e Anjos

The fair “Patrimónios do Sul” takes place from 11th to 13th October, at the Parque de Feiras e Exposições Manuel de Castro e Brito, in Beja, promoting the best of the entire south of the country, at an economic, cultural and touristic level.

The Municipality of Beja bets on this event as a way to support regional development and local cultures, through the enhancement of its heritage, material and immaterial, traditional and innovative.

At the same time, the municipality says it wants to stimulate "production, processing and marketing, the creative spirit, entrepreneurship and innovation".

Wines, agri-food products, tourism, biodiversity, arts and crafts, gastronomy, hunting and fishing, taurine tradition and birds will be the highlights of the three-day activities at the Manuel de Castro Fair and Exhibition Park and Brito.

Music and concerts are not lacking in the program. Opening the nights of Patrimónios do Sul, there will be a performance by the Anjos on Friday, October 11th. On Saturday, October 12th, João Pedro Pais takes the stage. António Caixeiro closes the program on Sunday, the 13th, at 18:30 pm.

The fair will have different spaces: Vinipax (dedicated to wines), Artes do Sul (for handicraft, design, tourism, services, agri-food products and business), Beja Educa (for children), Sul à Mesa (best of Mediterranean cuisine), À Conversa (space for debate), Hunting and Fishing, Beja Brava (dedicated to bullfighting) and CaniBeja.

There will also be an area for shows, snacks and AviBeja (bird show and contest).
