Albufeira is in second place, at national level, in the list of economic dynamism ratings, an indicator that Marktest discloses through its virtual application called “Municípios Online”.
Albufeira is the municipality that registers the second highest value in the rating, nationally, on a par with Lisbon, with 14.0 on a scale of 1 to 20.
The city of Albufeirense maintains the position reached in 2018, being only surpassed by Aveiro, who rose to first place with 14.1.
«I am proud to see that Albufeira is in second place in a study that measures the economic dynamism of 308 municipalities. This recognition motivates us to do more and better, as we have been doing so far, which has allowed us to rise in this municipal rating. In 2017 we occupied the third place and in 2018 we managed to reach the second position, which we will keep this year», says José Carlos Rolo, Mayor of Albufeira.
Launched in 2014, the municipal ratings are parameterization data that allow us to observe 39 indicators based on demographic, economic and quality of life dynamism.
The objective is to provide new tools to local entities or companies, so that they can observe the main strengths and weaknesses of each of the 308 municipalities in the country.
