A 40-year-old man, suspected of stealing and stealing, in Albufeira, will be placed in preventive detention after being arrested on 29 August.
Following an investigation that lasted about a year, triggered by several allegations in which a suspect robbed and robbed young tourists in the Albufeira area, the military complied with an arrest warrant that culminated in the suspect's location and detention.
According to the GNR, "it was possible to determine that the detainee was the author of several thefts and robberies, carried out since the year 2018".
The suspect was present at the Judicial Court of Albufeira, on 30 August, where he was given the coercive measure of preventive detention, and was taken to the Prison of Silves.
