the city of loulé will host the 69th World Accordion Trophy 2019, between the 3rd and 9th of November. The event will bring to the city the best accordion performers in the world.
According to the Municipality of Loulé, the World Trophy takes place in the city, «the result of a strong commitment by the Municipality of Loulé to culture, education and the arts, in partnership with the World Accordion Confederation and the Algarve Accordion Association» .
Concerts, masterclasses, conferences and the election of the 2019 world champion accordion player will be the «main menu» for all accordion and music fans in general.
The opening concert is scheduled for November 3, at 17 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano, with the presence of the 00 world champion, the Moldovan Radu Ratoi.
On November 4th, at 21 pm, some names such as Douglas Borsatti (Brazil), Renzo Ruggieri (Italy), Charm Trio (Russia) or Petar Maric (Serbia), will participate in the Stars of the World Accordion Concert.
On the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th, at 21 pm, it is the turn of the Cine-Teatro to receive, respectively, the concerts “Sénior Virtuoso I”, “Júnior Virtuoso” and “Sénior Virtuoso II”.
On the 9th of November, at 21 pm, the Ballroom receives the winners' concert.
